Covid-19: Enugu State hits Fifteen as Three New Cases are Confirmed; Six Discharged.

Enugu State’s confirmed cases of Covid-19 hits a total of 15 patients as three new cases were confirmed on 18th May, 2020. This was made known by the Nigerian Center for Disease control (NCDC) in  an update dated May 18, 2020. These most recent confirmed cases bring the Enugu State  Covid-19 figure to 15 confirmed cases, 6 discharged (as four more patients recover from the disease) and no death; thus Enugu State presently, has 9 active cases. The Enugu Sate Commissioner for Health, Dr. Obi Emmanuel Ikechukwu is yet to give an official statement concerning these new developments.

Meanwhile, Nigeria on the same date recorded a total of 216 new Covid-19 cases, thus raising the tally to 6,175 Confirmed cases of which there are 1,644 discharged patients and 191 deaths. Presently, Nigeria is battling with 4,340 active Covid-19 cases.

Gombe State 8
Borno State 8
Bauchi State 7
